About Us

Founded in 2001, owned & operated by Erica Dale and her mom, June. At Harleywood we strive to help Dobermans and Horses find their way into new, permanent and loving homes.  Yes, our farm is named after Harley, our first dobe who is deeply missed.

We are privately funded and are not a registered charity.  We do this simply because we feel these wonderful animals deserve a second chance.  Over the past 5 years, we have helped over 40 dobes, 20 horses as well as many cats & kittens and various chickens! 

Erica has also spent from 2002-2006 serving on the Board of Directors of PMU FANI, a PMU foal placement group that is a registered 501(c)3 charity in the US.  In 2005 Erica served as both Vice President and Acting President of FANI. 

Projects for 2007 and beyond include the formation of a local area Western Speed Event Club - "Turn-n-Burn" - with a few friends of similar addictions...  stay tuned and watch the TnB page for more info on that!  Very exciting things happening at Harleywood!
